- "Dr. Coffee's Pill" was originally written for a college class. An assignment for which the
author recieved an "A" with the professor's comment, "Brilliant!"
- In Valerie Clark's cover image, each of the artists who feature in the story are presented
in an style that does homage to their work.
- During the hectic Kindle conversion process for the Third Edition, the aknowledgment to Dr.
Mary Northcut, who made the assignment that led to the story, was accidentally left off. It was posted on the Web site for
posterity and is to be included in any future edition that may be designed as well.
