- Artist Sean Seybold, who had created the cover art for Mr. Clark's novel Cry, Wolf
six years before, insisted on creating the cover art for this project, beginning to end, at Mr. Clark's apartment, using
the computer in the study. While discussing the storyline with the author, he shared his opinion that the Nephilim
subplot would probably get Mr. Clark assassinated.

- The Chronicles of Nightfire, Texas #6 "Secrets of the Nephilim" was published through
GlennSladeClarkJr.com as a free PDF e-book on September 19, 2005, and in paperback the following day.
- A second edition was released in both Kindle e-book and paperback formats
on June 13, 2012.
