- By way of an antique photograph, the model for the cover art on this project was the
author's great-grandmother, Elfleta Humphrey, who was not in any way creepy, and who, to the best of anyone's knowledge,
has never manifested as an angry, vengeful phantom since her peaceful departure from the physical realm in
1977.

- The Chronicles of Nightfire, Texas #8 "The Phantom's Fury" was published through
